Well, I admit, I got sidetracked a bit. My D&D group is alternating between my own campaign world (which my book is set in) and Forgotten Realms. So, my mind has been very torn between writing the backstory of my FR character, Kaelen Selunel, and writing my book. But, I'm forcing myself back on track and putting the short story about Kaelen on the back burner for now. The hardest part about writing chapter 1, though, is...I have to figure out how to start the bloody thing. I think I have something, though, so I'll post the finished version when I'm through.
